Understanding the Home Dashboard
Last updated: April 9, 2026
The Home tab is your daily operations hub. It gives you a real-time snapshot of active operations across donations, supporters, tasks, messaging, and campaigns — all in one view.
The page header reads "Active operations across donations, supporters, tasks, messaging, and campaigns" and includes a timestamp showing when the data was last refreshed, along with a Refresh button to pull the latest data on demand.
Message Timeline (Next 7 Days)
Located in the top-left of the Home tab, this widget shows any email messages or communications scheduled to send within the next 7 days. If nothing is queued, it displays "No messages are scheduled to send in the next 7 days."
This helps you stay aware of upcoming outbound communications so you can review or adjust them before they go out.
Today's Payouts
In the top-right corner, this widget shows the total dollar amount paid out today. It displays a single "Total paid today" figure (e.g., $0.00) and notes whether any payouts have been marked as paid. This is useful for daily financial reconciliation — a quick glance tells you whether funds have moved.
Upcoming Task Assignees
Just below Today's Payouts, this widget shows any open tasks with due dates falling between today and the next 7 days. If your team has no tasks due soon, it displays "No open tasks due in the next 7 days."
Tasks are created from individual supporter records (on the supporter's Info tab) and can be assigned to specific team members with optional due dates.
Recent Donations
A list of the most recent successful donation transactions from the last 30 days, sorted newest first. Each entry shows the donor name, donation amount, status badge (e.g., "Success" in green), and the date/time of the transaction.
Clicking the expand arrow in the top-right corner takes you to the full donations table with filtering options.
Recently Created Donors
Shows supporters who were added to your system in the last 30 days. Each entry displays the donor's name, email address, donor type (e.g., Individual), and the date they were created.
This widget helps you track new supporter acquisition at a glance.
Recent Pledges
Lists recently created pledge commitments from the last 30 days. Each entry shows the donor name, pledge amount, and status. Pledges represent a donor's commitment to give a specific amount, which may be fulfilled over time.
Recent Recurring Plans
Shows newly created recurring donation plans from the last 30 days. Each entry displays the donor name, recurring amount, status, and the date the plan was created.
This is a quick way to monitor subscription/recurring giving growth.
Journey Go-Live Queue
This widget displays draft donor journeys that have been recently updated and may be ready to activate. Each entry shows the journey name (e.g., "Welcome Series"), when it was last updated, the number of steps, and the number of supporters currently in the journey.
What is a Journey? A journey is an automated workflow that guides supporters through a series of engagement touchpoints — like a welcome email series for new donors. Journeys use entry triggers (e.g., first donation), time delays, if/else logic, and actions (send email, tag donor, etc.) to create personalized experiences.
Journeys in "Draft" status appear here as a reminder that they need to be reviewed and activated to start processing supporters.
Recent Notes
Displays internal notes created in the last 30 days, sorted by creation date. Notes are attached to individual supporter records and are used for internal team communication — things like call summaries, follow-up reminders, or context about a donor relationship.
Task Queue Health
This is a dashboard-within-a-dashboard for your team's task workload. It shows four key counts in a grid layout:
Open — Total number of incomplete tasks across your organization.
Overdue (highlighted in red) — Tasks with due dates that have already passed.
Due Today (highlighted in yellow) — Tasks due today.
Next 7D — Tasks due within the next 7 days.
Below the grid, it shows a count of tasks with no due date and a Top Assignees section listing the team members with the most assigned incomplete tasks.
This widget is your early warning system — if the Overdue count is climbing, something needs attention.
Active Campaigns
Lists your currently active fundraising campaigns, sorted by most recent activity. Each entry shows the campaign name, last activity date, and payment count. Clicking the expand arrow takes you to the full Campaigns view.
Active Fundraisers
Shows live fundraiser pages associated with your campaigns. Each entry shows the fundraiser name, status (e.g., "Draft"), P2P count, and last P2P activity date. This is where you monitor peer-to-peer fundraising activity.
Active Events
Lists upcoming events sorted by event date. Each entry shows the event name, start date/time, and registration count (number of RSVPs). Useful for keeping tabs on what's coming up.
New P2P Fundraisers
Shows peer-to-peer fundraiser pages created by your supporters in the last 30 days. If none have been created, it displays "No newly created P2P fundraisers found."
Recent Form Submissions
Lists form responses submitted through your WeGive forms in the last 30 days. If there are no recent submissions, it displays "No recent form submissions found."

The left sidebar provides quick access to all major sections of the V2 dashboard:

Tips for Using the Home Tab
Start your day here. The Home tab is designed as a morning check-in. Open it to see what happened overnight and what needs attention today.
Watch Task Queue Health. If the Overdue count is growing, tasks are falling through the cracks. Use this as a daily accountability check.
Monitor the Journey Go-Live Queue. Draft journeys sitting here may mean new supporter automations are waiting to be activated.
Check Today's Payouts for reconciliation. A quick look confirms whether funds are moving as expected.
Use the expand arrows. Every widget has a clickable arrow in the top-right corner that takes you to the full, filterable table view for that data type.
Hit Refresh after making changes. The page shows a "last updated" timestamp — use the Refresh button to pull the latest data after you've made updates elsewhere in the dashboard.
