Navigating the Dashboard

Last updated: May 21, 2026

The WeGive V2 dashboard uses a two-tier sidebar navigation system. The main sidebar on the far left shows your primary sections as icons, and hovering or clicking any icon opens a flyout panel with its sub-pages. Settings opens as a full secondary panel rather than a flyout. This guide covers every section and what you'll find inside.

Some sections and sub-pages are only visible to certain roles. We've noted role restrictions where they apply.

Home

Your landing page. Shows a real-time operations view across donations, supporters, tasks, messaging, and campaigns. The Home tab is organized into independent widgets — each loading its own data — covering recent donations, today's payouts, task queue health, upcoming messages, active campaigns, and more. See the Home Tab Guide for a full breakdown of every widget.

Supporters

Navigation Tips

  • Hover to expand: The flyout panel appears when you hover over or click a main section icon. Move your mouse away to collapse it.

  • Active section highlighting: The sidebar highlights your current section and page so you always know where you are.

  • Settings opens differently: Unlike the other sections, Settings opens in a full secondary panel with a search bar at the top and clearly labeled subheaders.

  • Role-based visibility: If you don't see a section listed above, it may be restricted to a different role. The dashboard automatically hides sections and individual pages you don't have access to. Check with your Admin if you need access.
